Longines make great watch and we believe Hydro Conquest range is best budget diver watch of 2022. It comes in three sizes – 39mm, 41mm and 43mm. I bought the 43mm because I’ve thicker wrist but I do watches that are 36mm, and look great on my wrist.
I bought Longines HydroConqest at a stellar price, much below the retail price. It was bear market and there were heavy discounts everywhere. Pair that with stellar price history and I got a banger deal. The watch has 300M of water resistance and build quality is almost at par with other luxury watches from the Swatch brand, including Omega.
If there was any complain, it would be the buckle. It is way too hard to open and close. But, once you get hold of it, you will probably stop complaining.
Those who have issue with its size, well, Longines sell a smaller 38mm version of it as well. It has the same features.
I bought this Longings watch as a companion to my Omega Seamaster 300M. It is not exactly a burner watch since it retails for $2000, but it can be taken to places where I would never take my Omega.
The bezel is ceramic so it would not catch any scratches.
